Even my articulate and well-spoken father used quotes, and he started a tradition that carries on today through me. At all three of his daughter's weddings, he ended each toast with the Irish Prayer. Never a dry eye in the house.

THE IRISH PRAYER:

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind always be at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

and rains fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

"That's all" (a quote from my very dear friend, Karen)!
